Transparencia:
Your vote elects one. Or your vote boots them all.
Bótame /
Vótame
Two letters. Two decisions. Two possible destinies for the same ballot. In Spanish, “votar” (to vote) and “botar” (to dump, to discard) sound exactly the same. They’re spelled differently by just one letter — a confusion shared by millions of Peruvians that had never been used for what it truly means: that with the same ballot, you can either choose someone or get rid of them.
“Bótame / Vótame” is the informed voting campaign we developed for Transparencia, IPYS, ProÉtica, Empresarios por la Integridad, and IPAE ahead of Peru’s 2026 general elections. It doesn’t ask anyone to be a good citizen. It puts voters face to face with fictional candidates who openly confess exactly what they are — and lets each viewer decide whether to vote for them or toss them out. Produced entirely with AI and archival footage, every piece drives to www.revisatucandidato.pe, featuring verified data on nearly 9,000 candidates.
